"Louise", by Charpentier, is the opera to be given on Harvard night, Wednesday, February 6, it was announced yesterday by the Managing Committee of the Chicago Civic Opera Company yesterday.
The CRIMSON has made arrangements to supply tickets for this opera for men who apply between 9 and 10 o'clock every morning up to and including Friday, January 19. The tickets ordered will be given out at the CRIMSON on January 20. Advance payments only will be accepted.
The outstanding singers partaking in this Monday evening performance are Mary Garden, star of many performances of the past, Marie Claessens and Rene Mason, who has just completed his successful debut season in Chicago. Vanni-Marcoux, who is a former member of the Boston Opera, and who has always been a favorite in Boston, is also scheduled to sing. Another veteran musician, Giorgo Polacco, the conductor, will partake in the performance.
