Gales Ferry, Conn., June 17.--The Yale University crew covered a four mile upstream course in 20 minutes and 50 seconds late this afternoon. Starting out with a stroke of 41, a 32 stroke was quickly adopted and held until the three and three quarter mile mark. Then the stroke was raised to a 36 beat.
Tonight the Yale eight goes to Red Top to return the visit of the Crimson eight made here last night.
