UNIVERSITY LACROSSE TEAM TO ENCOUNTER BROWN TODAY

Squad Has Been Cut Down to 24 Stickmen

The University lacrosse team will play Brown this afternoon at 4 o'clock at Soldiers Field.

The squad, which Coach Hunter found too large, was cut down to 24 so that more intensive training can be given these men.

Beside the first team there are: W. C. Culver ocC., J. R. Harper '28, E. G. Hermann '28, H. J. Kaufman '29, C. D. McQuaid '28, Ira Markwett '28, I. H. J. Muchnick '28, O. E. Mulliken '28, S. P. Park '29, L. M. Shapiro '29, H. D. Stone '29, G. A. Weller '29.

A twelve has been organized from the other players, which will have a number of games this spring.

The University team will line up as follows this afternoon: Ellison, g.; Gamache, p.; Sayles, c.p.; Lane, 1d.; North, 2d.; Wallace, 3d.; Hatch, c.; R. Murphy, 3a.; Dreier, 2a.; Simpson, 1a.; J. Murphy, o.h.; Linn, i.h.
