The Freshman tennis team beat Milton yesterday 6-1, playing its second match this season. M. I. Hill '30 playing number one beat Green 6-1, 6-2 in a onesided match. H. S. Ingraham '30 in the closest contest of the afternoon just managed to eke out a victory over Upton 7-5, 5-7, 10-8. F. B. Ward '30 easily overcame Wolcott 6-3, 6-1, while S. W. Winslow 3rd 30 beat Beyer 6-2, 6-3, and F. K. Trask Jr., '30 beat Nichols 6-3, 6-0.
In the doubles Hill and Trask were unable to get their stride and were beaten by Green and Upton 5-7, 6-2, 6-3, but Ingraham and Ward made up for the dedeat by beating Beyer and Wolcott 6-1, 6-0.
Today the second University team, made up of T. O. Kingsbury '27, J. C. Rueter '28, Robeson Bailey '29, S. G. French '28, and Hyman Lisker '29 plays Andover.
The class tournaments started yesterday and the second draws are posted in H. L. Cowles Tennis Shop. All entrants are expected to play a match every day.
