Announce Union Essay Contest Winners

The three judges of the annual Union Essay Contest last night announced that J. R. Creel '27 had been awarded the first prize of $35 for his essay entitled "Education and Democracy", and that the second prize of $15 had been won by Austin Wright 2G for his essay Back Stage". The judges were Professor K. G. T. Webster '93, Langdon Warnor '03, and L. D. Peterkin.

The essays can be obtained by application at the graduate Secretaries office next week.
