UNUSUALLY EARLY TENNIS PRACTICE BEGINS MONDAY

Tournaments to Pick Teams Will Start Shortly

The tennis squad will begin work outdoors next Monday, if the weather permits, according to a statement last night by Coach Cowles. This is the earliest date that the squad has ever got on the outdoor courts, and is two weeks earlier than last year.

After three or four days of practice there will be a tournament for the unusually large turnout of 60 men, which will have a large share in determining the team of six players. A tournament for the Freshman candidates will be run simultaneously.

After these tournaments have been run off, there will be an interclass tournament between teams picked from each class. The Freshman class team will be composed of the six men who are runners-up in the tournament for the first team.
