"LAWYER AND JUDGE IN COURT" IS SUBJECT OF TALK BY MACK

"Lawyer and Judge in Court" will be the subject of a talk to be given by Judge Julian Mack a former Overseer of the University and now a judge of the United States Circuit Court, at 8:15 o'clock tonight in Langdell Center under the auspices of the Law School Society of the Phillips Brooks House. All members of the University and particularly Law School men are invited to attend.

Judge Mack due to his long and varied experience as a lawyer and as a judge is particularly well fitted to speak on the subject with which he will deal this evening. After his graduation from the Law School in 1887 he practiced law in Chicago, until he was made Illinois State Judge in 1903. Eight years later he became a Federal Judge in the Commerce Court and when this was abolished by Congress he was made a Circuit Judge. Since then he has been sent about the country wherever any particularly difficult cases are being tried. At present Judge Mack is in Boston trying New England oil cases.
