In a practice game yesterday afternoon, the first baseball team downed a second string nine 3 to 1.

A two bagger by W. W. Lord '28, and two bases on balls backed up by singles from the bats of Lord and Henry Chauncey '28, accounted for the first team's total.

G. E. Bennett '28 scored the lone tally for his team when he batted out a three bagger and crossed the plate on a long fly to the outfield.

The line-up follows:

First team--1b, Prior; 2b, Ullman; ss, Howett; 3b, Zarakov; M, Jones; cf, Burns; If, Lord; c, Chauncey; D, Barbee.
