For the third successive time, Harvard won the New England intercollegiate wrestling championship at Providence, Saturday night Harvard scored 20 points, Brown 16, Tufts 13, Williams six, and M. I. T. one.
In the individual championships, Brown captured three firsts, and Harvard and Tufts two each. All are new champions, none of last year's champions retaining their titles. The Crimson victory was made possible through the winning of three second places, while Brown failed to win any lesser places.
Joseph Lifrak '29 is the new 135 pound title-holder, and Carl Corson '28, was victor in the 145 pound division.
Other champions are: 115 pound class, Irving Garcelin, Tufts; 125 pound class, Julian Haynes, Tufts; 158 pound class, F. A. Spellman, Brown; 145 pound class, Alfred Cornsweet, Brown; unlimited class, Harry Cornsweet, Brown.
In the junior team championships, Brown nosed out Harvard by an 18 to 15 score. The summary follows;

115-Pound Class--Garcelin, Tufts, defeated Cullen, M. I. T., referee's decision.
125-Pound Class--Haynes, Tufts, won from Johnson, M. I. T., Fall double arm lock. Time, 11m 56s.
135-Pound Class--Lifrak, Harvard, defeated Hing King, Tufts, referee's decision.
145-Pound Class--Corson, Harvard, defeated Harris, M. I. T., referee's decision.
158-Pound Class--Spellman, Brown, defeated Austin, Tufts, time advantage 2m 20s overtime.
176-Pound Class--A. Cornsweet, Brown won from Howe, Harvard, time advantage 1m 39s (overtime).
Unlimited Class--H. Cornsweet, Brown, defeated Packard, Williams, referee's decision.
