Thirty-eight men have entered their names in the University Boxing Tournament which will start tomorrow afternoon at the Hemenway Gymnasium.
The preliminary trials are scheduled for 4 o'clock Tuesday, while the finals will not be held until next Friday at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium.
Of the different classes, which include weights from 115 pounds up, the 135 pound group, with eleven entries, drew the largest number of men.
The list of entrants includes many of the finalists of last year's tourney, and promises much keen competition.
All of the entries, it was announced, will be given a physical examination before their first bouts. The examination will be given when the process of weighing in the pugilist takes place at Hemenway at 4 o'clock today.
