Since yesterday was the ninety third anniversary of President Eliot's birth displays will be made this week in the Treasure Room in Widener Library of several of the birthday greetings which he received during his life. His certificate of membership in the French Legion of Honor and several views of the Yard and surrounding territory during President Eliot's long term of office, as well as a copy of a "Boston Journal" Supplement, dated October 20, 1869, which describes his inauguration to the Presidency are also on exhibition.

Among the congratulations is one from President Lowell on behalf of the University, October 20, 1924, another from George Wigglesworth '74 on the same date representing the Board of Overseers as well as one from the Tavern Club.
