CRIMSON HORSEMEN RIDE TO EASY VICTORY IN TITLE PLAY

Score 14 1-2 to 2 Triumph Over Field Artillery Team

Exhibiting the fastest riding and the best team work seen in Boston this year, the University Polo team won the indoor Polo league championship Saturday night from the 101st Field Artillery team by a score of 14 1/2 to 2. The defeat was more overwhelming than it had been expected to be, and was mainly accountable to the excellent work of the University trio.

The first chukker was fairly even but in the next period five goals were scored in as many minutes and the outcome of the game was decided. From then on the University horsemen kept on piling up their score until when the final whistle blew they had amassed 14 1/2 points.

Cotton scored 6 White 5, and Clark 4 goals and in a mix up in front of the University goal Cotton accidently scored a goal for the opposing team.
