COWLES PICKS TEN BEST SQUASH MEN IN COUNTRY

Five on List Are Graduates of the University--Names of Rawlins and Lenhart Also Appear

After having coached the University Squash Racquets team through a season in which it received only one set back, which was an unofficial match, Coach Harry Cowles has announced the first ten national players of the past season. Of these ten, all but five are Harvard graduates. Two of these five, H. N. Rawlins '27 captain of the University team and P. M. Lenhart '27 who played number two on the racquetmen's aggregation are undergraduates, who placed fourth and ninth respectively. These are the only two undergraduates in the list.

The men were ranked in the following order:

M. P. Baker '22, W. P. Dixon '25, R. S. Wright '26, H. N. Rawlins '27, E. W. Debevoise '25, Wallace Johnston, S. P. Clark '14, Ralph Powers, P. M. Lenhart '27, H. T. Balliere. The University team has won 12 national titles since 1911 and up to their defeat here by the English team, they had been undefeated for four years.

In the class squad tournament the Juniors won the championship. The team is composed of: G. T. Francis, Erlund Field, Talmadge Woodward, W. G. Saltonstall, R. H. Sanger, W. R. Huntington, H. N. Higinbotham. Their ranking was:   Won  Lost Juniors  5  1 Seniors  4  2 Sophomores  3  3 Freshman  0  6
