CLUB TABLES START IN GORE HALL IN RESPONSE TO DEMAND

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshmen taking their meals at Gore Hall will have the privilege of eating at club tables, under a new system to be inaugurated today. Over a dozen applications for tables seating from 12 to 20 men have been re-received by T. F. Mason '30, who, as chairman of the Gore Hall committee, is in charge of the innovation.

The change was sponsored by Dr. Worcester, the Gore Hall proctors, and the members of the Dormitory committee. While the new system is only an experiment, it is understood that if it proves successful, it will be made a regular second-half year custom in the future. As yet none of the other Freshman Dining Halls have established club tables.
