The following resolution in regard to the proposed Memorial Chapel was passed unanimously at the Liberal Club last night. A motion was also passed to write out a petition based upon the resolution to be sent to the President and Fellows of Harvard University in protest against the proposed plans. The resolution:
"Whereas this meeting heartily disapproves of the present architectural plans for a University Church to replace Appleton Chapel, and whereas any material destruction of Appleton Chapel or encroachment of the Yard is deplored, therefore be it resolved that this meeting go on record as opposing the present plans, the material destruction of Appleton Chapel and further encroachment on the Yard."
