HYATT AND NICHOLS HEAD HARVARD CLUB AT OXFORD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At a recent election of the Harvard Club of Oxford R. L. Hyatt '24 was chosen president for 1927 and William I. Nichols '26 was named secretary. Both men are Rhodes Scholars, Hyatt from Arkansas and Nichols from Massachusetts, and both are now students at Balliol College.

Harvard and Princeton are the two American universities with the largest representation at Oxford and the only two which have established clubs for their graduates there. At the present time the Princeton Club has a membership of 15, while the Harvard Club has a roster of 12, Yale and the University of California some next in the size of their delegations, but neither group is as yet large enough to justify the formation of a club.
