Cooperative Handles Caps and Gowns
Arrangements have been made again this year to have the members of the graduating class measured by the Harvard Cooperative Society for caps and gowns. The details of ordering and delivering the costumes will be nandlea by the Cooperative Society for the manufacturers, who are as yet unnamed.
The caps and gowns will cost $9.50 up to March 18, by which date all measurements must be taken. After this date the price will be $10.
Designs for the tickets are to be made on white paper with black India ink and are to be of a simple figure. The size of the tickets is to be four and one half by seven and one half inches, and the design should bear the following legend:
Yard tickets: "Harvard Class Day, 1927. Admit one to the Yard, June 21."
Stadium tickets: "Harvard Class Day 1927. Stadium exercises, 4 P. M. June 21."
Memorial Hall tickets: "Harvard Class Day, 1927; Admit one to Memorial Hall, 8-11 P. M., June 21."
Hymn Tune Should be Familiar
The words of the hymn should be set to some familiar tune such as "Integer Vitae". "Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand", or "Jerusalem the Golden". Further information concerning the competitions or other matters connected with Class Day may be obtained from Madison Sayles, at the Varsity Club. The closing date for the competitions has been set for March 26. Free tickets for Class Day will be awarded to the winners.
