The University basketball team will take the floor against the strong Dartmouth aggregation tomorrow night at anover. In spite of its defeat on Wednesday at the hands of Holy Cross, the Crimson team is expected to be an even match for the Green.
While not in the undefeated class, Dartmouth has a remarkably good quintet and has several imposing victories to its credit. Norwich was defeated 42-23 on December 13 and the following week West Point was handed a 28-16 defeat. Other victims are Yale and Columbia. The former going down 27-21, and the latter by the close score of 30-28.
Two defeats have been suffered by the Green. On January 15, Pennsylvania administered a 34-22 defeat, and four days later Fordham won 34-17.
The squad will leave Cambridge tomorrow morning, and will consist of ten players, two managers and Coach Wachter. Captain Picken at right forward, Hein atcenter, and Vossler at left forward have been the outstanding scorers on the Green squad and will undoubtedly provide plenty of action in tomorrow's game. Although neither of the coaches has announced a definite starting lineup, it is announced that the teams will face each other as they have started in their last major contests. In this case the starting order will be as follows:
