TWO CRIMSON COMPETITIONS INAUGURATED NEXT WEEK

With the opening of a seven weeks competition immediately after the start of the second half of the academic year, Sophomores will have their final opportunity to win positions on the News Board of the Crimson. Although this is the shortest competition that has yet invited the class of 1929, the work required will be that of the former longer tests.

The aspirants will gather at the Crimson building on February 8 at 7 o'clock. Work will start the next day and continue through until April 1.

Two days later, on Thursday, February 10, at 7 o'clock, the Crimson will open a nine week's competition for Freshmen. This will be the initial chance for the first year men to prove their business abilities in vying for posts as Business Editors. Soliciting advertisements and subscriptions will comprise the greater part of the work, of this competition, which will close before the spring vacation the third week in April.
