At the conclusion of the first preliminary wrestling tryouts on Saturday, Coach W. E. Lewis stated that, for the first time, he was able to name those in the running to compete in the first meet with Tufts on January 7. Further elimination's will start on Friday and continue until the team is picked on January 5.

Sanders '30. 135-pound class: J. E. Evans '30, C. N. Levine '30, Joseph Lifrak '29, H. P. Minis '30. Stephen Phillips '29. 145-pound class: C. C. Corson '28, R. G. Hall '29, E. C. Sykes '29. 158-pound class: F. K. Arnold '29, J. N. Salona '30. 175-pound class: J. B. Gardner '29, H. J. Kaufman '29, J. T. Newton '30. Heavyweight class: Captain T. D. Howe '28, W. H. Boldt '30, R.
