DR. JUDD SCHEDULED TO DELIVER INGLIS LECTURE

December 14 Is Date for Address on Secondary Education--Public Invited to Attend in Emerson Hall

Addressing his audience on "The Unique Character of American Secondary Education." Dr. C. H. Judd, Director of the School of Education at Chicago University, noted psychologist and scholar in education, will deliver the Inglis Lecture in Secondary Education on Wednesday evening, December 14, at 8 o'clock, in Emerson Hall. The lecture will be open to the public.

In establishing the lectureship in honor of the later Professor Alexander Inglis, a former member of the University faculty, and who until his death was a leading scholar and writer in the field of secondary education. The Harvard Graduate School of Education seeks to stimulate thinking and experiment in the field to which Professor Inglis devoled his life work.

Dr. Judd graduated from Wesleyan University in 1894, secured his Doctor's degree from the University of Leipsing in 1896, and has received honorary degrees from a number of institutions. His most recent works are "Psychology at Social Institutions." published in 1926 and "Psychology of Secondary Educations" published in 1927.
