In accordance with his policy of extending athletics to every student. Coach A. W. Samborski '25 has announced that the first meeting of the Intramural Sports Council will be held tomorrow night at 7.30 o'clock in Hemenway Gymnasium. The immediate purpose of the meeting is to give the delegates from the various clubs and fraternities an opportunity of appointing a committee to nominate a president and secretary of the Council, to formulate plans for the future activities of the organization, and at the same time to discover what teams will be represented in the inter-club basketball league which is expected to begin activities this week.
Members of the University teams will definitely be declared ineligible to play in the league tournament, and the possibilities of eliminating all but undergraduates will be considered. Rules and regulations for the games are to be drawn up.
Any club or fraternity which has not elected a delegate to the Council may send one to the meeting, and may enter its team in the tournament.
