The Track managerial competition, open to all Sophomores in good standing, begins on Tuesday, January 3. Three positions are open to candidates; the winner of the competition will be second assistant manager of track for the remainder of his Sophomore year, assistant manager his Junior year, and manager in his Senior year. The second man in this competition will recive the Cross Country managership next year, and be associate manager as a Senior while the third man will become class track manager in 1930.
The competition will last seven weeks, and the work of the candidates has been so planend by Manager B. T. Thompson '28 that it will not interfere with scholastic duties during the Reading Period or with preparation for the Mid-year examinations.
