McKinlock Hall has been accorded winner of the fall sports inter-dormitory series, it was announced yesterday by the Department of Physical Education. The winners scored 29 points, Gore placed second with 25, Smith third with 20, and Standish last with 7.
The points are given on the basis of places won in the different fall sports and the number of men from the respective dormitories who won numerals on the freshman teams meeting Yale, McKinlock, Standish, and Smith Halls representatives each were awarded the same number of numerals, and for this each dormitory was given three-points.
The results in football follow:
McKinlock 5, Gore 3, Smith 1, Standish 0; in cross country: Gore 5, Smith 3, Standish 1, and McKinlock 0; in tennis: 2 o'clock section, McKinlock 5, Smith 3, Gore 1, and Standish 0; 3 o'clock section: Smith 5, Gore 3, Standish 1, McKinlock 0: 4 o'clock section, McKinlock 5, Smith 3, Standish 1, Gore 0; in crew first crews, McKinlock 5, Gore 3, Standish 1, Smith 0; second crews, Gore 5, McKinlock 3, Smith 1, Standish 0: third crews, Gore 5, McKinlock 3, Smith 1, Standish 0.
