The Harvard Dramatic Club will present its sixth annual Miracle Play at 7.30 and 9 o'clock tonight and tomorrow night with the Romanesque Cathedral Portal of the Germanic Museum as a setting.
The Provencal Miracle Play to be given this year was translated for the Dramatic Club by D. F. Robinson '26 and was adapted by K. J. White '27. The unnamed play was written in the first part of the Fourteenth Century and is in rhymed couplets. It tells the story of Mary and Joseph, not usually included in miracle plays, the birth of the Christ-child, and a surprising miracle which occurred to Anastasia, a woman who befriended Mary. Four chants are included in the piece and will be sung by a small chorus from the Glee Club.
General direction of the production is in the hands of C. A. Hicks ocC. The rest of the management includes Charles Leatherbee '29, costumes; R. H. Thompson '30, lighting; L. F. Robinson '30, properties; and T. J. Smith '30, business.
The cast and chorus follow: Choristers: E. Von P. Renouf '28, H. A. Rusch '28, Louis Harap '28, E. S. Robinson 1G., Henry Fox '28, E. S. Robinson 1G., Henry Fox '28, J. W. Knedler 3G.
