Debate Tryout Today

A second tryout for candidates who wish to compete for a place on the University debating team which will debate the Boston College team on January 11 will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the New Lecture Hall, it was announced last night by E. M. Rowe 1L., debating teach coach. The question is: "Resolved, That Al Smith is eminently qualified for the presidency".

After the first tryout held Monday night, the following men were retained: M. V. Anastos '30, M. U. Cope-land '29, F. W. P. Lorenzen '28, A. L. Raffa ocC., D. E. Scoll '28, David Sher '29, Norman Winer '29.

Any man in good standing in the College or Engineering School is eligible for the team.
