SPALDING TO PLAY TONIGHT IN THIRD SANDERS CONCERT

Symphony Orchestra Under Direction of Guest Conductor Burgin

The Boston Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of Richard Burgin, guest conductor, in its concert tonight at 8 o'clock in Sanders Theatre will have as its violin soloist. Albert Spalding.

The program follows: 1. Overture to "Ali Baba"  Cherubini 2. Concerto in D Major, Opp 77  Brahms 3. Prelude to a Drama  Schreker 4. "Mazeppa", Symphonic Poem No. 6  Liszt

This concert is the third of the series of nine which are being given on Thursday evenings in Sanders Theatre. The dates of the remaining concerts have been announced as follows. December 1. January 12, February 9, February 23, March 1, March 29, and April 19. Beginning with the season of 1927-28. Sections B.C.D.E. and F in the first gallery, and Section D in the second gallery have been reserved for members of the University.
