As a result of the tryouts held yesterday afternoon, the debating squad has been cut to 14 men. From these men, following the trials to be held tomorrow, eight will be selected, and on Monday, the four speakers will be chosen, two for the affirmative team, and two for the negative.
The teams will represent the University in the triangular debate with Brown and Wesleyan on December 10. The four men not chosen will be the alternates for the team.
Eight of the following will be kept after tomorrow's tryout:
Affirmative: D.I. Cooke '31, A.S. Gilmartin '31, C.D. Post '31, A.L. Raffa ocC., R.C. Weaver '29; Negative; R.F. Courtney '29, W.E. Esber '31, L.T. Grimm '29, Z.K. Kwong '29, A.C. McGowan '31, Saul Rosenzweig '29, S.G. Silverman '30, and Norman Winer '29.
