Simultaneous with the announcement last night of the program of the concert of the Glee Club at Milton next Friday, it was learned that Nikolai Orloff, the planist who had been chosen as assisting artist at the first Symphony Hall concert of the Glee Club on December 8, has become ill in Europe, and would be unable to fulfill his engagement with the Glee Club.
At the same time it was announced that F. W. Ramseyer '26, a young planist who has accompanied the Glee Club in previous years, had been engaged to take Orloff's place on the Symphony Hall program.
Two other concerts will be given by the Glee Club in Symphony Hall this year; one on February 17 with Pablo Casals, cellist, as assisting artist, and another on April 26, when the Harvard and Yale Glee Clubs will give a joint concert.
Next Friday the Glee Club will travel to Milton and give a concert in the Thacher Room at Milton Academy at 8.15 o'clock.
The program of the Milton concert follows:
Three French Canadian Folk-Songs
Chorus from the Yeomen of the Guard Sullivan
