ALPHA SIGMA PHI SEXTET WINS TOUCH FOOTBALL TITLE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the last of the official touch football games, played yesterday afternoon on the first Freshman field, the Alpha Sigma Phi sextet, of the Interclub League, slashed its way through the mud to down the Whippets, representing the Independent League, by a score of 12 to 6.

The wet field made the going difficult, but the passing of both teams was accurate and in most cases the passes were completed for long gains. Touchdowns were scored by the Alpha Sigma Phi's in the first and third quarters. A last minute rally netted the Whippets their only touchdown.

The members of the winning team yesterday afternoon were the following: F. B. Cutts '28, R. E. Durkee '29, G. H. Elsass '30, D. S. Greer '29, R. R. Ketchum '29, and F. J. Schwentker '28.
