BROWN-COLGATE TIE UPSET IN THANKSGIVING DAY GAMES

In the only startling upset recorded in the serving of the Thanks-giving Day football bill of fare, an aroused Brown eleven rose from the gloom of early-season defeats to hold a strong Colgate team, to a scoreless tie.

In other important games Pennsylvania and Pittsburg trampled Cornell and Penn State. Columbia finally scored over Syracuse, New York University's Violets lost their first game this year to Nebraska, and the University of Georgia maintained its clean slate by toppling Alabama.
