TO HOLD RALLY AT UNION THIS EVENING

Cheers, songs, selections by the University Band, and speeches by H. R. Hardwick '15, Walter Camp's All-American end in 1944, Captain C. A. Pratt '28, and Coach Arnold Horween '21, will feature the football rally for the Yale game in the Living Room of the Union tonight at 7.15 o'clock.

Starting from the front steps of Widener Library at 6.30 o'clock, the Band will parade around the Yard, gathering men from the dormitories, leaving through the Johnston Gate and passing through the Square to the Freshman dormitories, then up Mount Auburn Street to the Union.

Captain Pratt will be the first speaker of the rally, and will be introduced by A. H. O'Neil '28 cheer leader. After songs and cheers Coach Horween will speak, while "Tack" Hardwick, whose "indianizing" was famous in the days of C. E. Brickley '15, will be the last speaker to address the mass meeting.

"Indianizing" was a method of interfering used by the Carlisic Indian College teams, and Hardwick became exceptionally proficient in its practice. When a player "Indianized" a runner, he threw his body across the knees of his opponent in such a way as to take him completely out of action.
