The University eight spent yesterday afternoon experimenting with a new Lutz shell on the Charles, the various eights shifting about and each taking an initial row in the new craft. Two short races are planned for next week, and about next Wednesday there will be a cut in the squad. At present there are eight crews on the river, but these will be reduced to five.
