A variety of interesting lectures and pleasing social events for the coming year was announced by the Graduate Schools Society of the Phillips Brooks House Association last night at the reception held for graduate students at the Phillips Brooks House.

A series of Sunday afternoon lectures on the different aspects of religion will be given by such men as Roscoe Pound, Hon. 20, Dean of the Law School, W. L. Sperry, Dean of the Theological School, Professor R. C. Cabot '89, and Dr. Michael Pupin. These lectures, with C. C. Lowry 1 E. T. S., presiding, will begin November 6. Weekly discussion groups, at which Karl Hartzell 1G. will preside, will also be held, at which all graduate students may discus religious and social topics. There will be an open house with musical entertainment, the third Thursday of every month, under the direction of J. A. Lane 3L. Graduate students of the University will have a chance to meet graduate students of Radcliffe College this winter at three or four dances under the direction of F. P. Taft 2 E. T. S. Saturday hikes will be sponsored throughout the year. There will also be plenty of opportunity for graduate students to enter social service work.
