CRIMSON SOCCER TEAM COMBATS GREEN TODAY

What is predicted to be an evenly matched game will be started this afternoon at 2 o'clock when the Harvard and Dartmouth soccer teams, clash on Soldiers Field in the annual game preceding the Harvard-Dartmouth football combat.

The Dartmouth squad travelled Wednesday to West point to take a 3 to 1 defeat at the hands of the Army, after which the team went to New York City to spend Wednesday night, arriving in Boston yesterday afternoon.

If pre-game prognostications avail anything, today's match should prove to be a close event, for Amherse defeated both Dartmouth and Harvard by the same score, 3-1. While Dartmouth was playing the Cadets, the University soccer squad has wasted no time, having been well drilled in the fundamentals of the game.

Several shifts have been made in the University line since the Amherst game. W. J. Salmon '30, how played on the Freshman squad last year, has been sent in to replace E. F. Henry '28, at guard. A. S. Rudd '29, who acted as substitute last week, has been sent in to replace Reed Ryan '28, at left half. At inside left, J. E. Keefe '28, replace Derk Bodde '30.
