SEXTET READY FOR NOTRE DAME CLASH

Facing Notre Dame's hockey team for the first time in history tomorrow night at the Arena, the Crimson ice squad will go through its last pre-game workout this afternoon.

The Notre Dame team is led by its speedy left wing, Hicock. The chief star of the team is the centre, McSorley. On right wing is Martin, while the visitors from Indiana will present a husky all-football defense on the Arena ice. Boeringer, All-American centre, will share secondary defense duties with McGrath, fullback on last fall's eelven. Murphy in goal for Notre Dame has a considerable reputation as a puck stopper.

Morrill Starring in Goal

In the two Toronto contests the Harvard lineup has become nearly settled. The work of Morrill in goal on Monday night against the fast Canadians stamps him as an able successor to Captain Cumings of last year's champion team. Morrill now ranks a notch above Adams, who played through the McGill game last week. The two shared the goaltending job on the Freshman team two years ago, with Morrill rating as the regular.

Clark apparently has got the call as Captain Ellison's defense partner over his fellow letter-men Howard and Coady. Howard's eyes have hampered him in the Arena. With Coady and Stanley, star on last year's Freshman team, he is now in the role of reserve defense man.

Tudor in Harding's Place

Crosby's illness brings the 1926 first forward line back into the game intact with Gross, Chase, and Hamlen performing. Last year the second line rated on a par with the first, and, with one change, Tudor for Harding, seems to have more scoring ability than the regulars. Scott and Zarakov are fast and aggressive. Durant is ready for yeoman duty on the forward line.

After the Notre Dame game the Crimson skaters will have a respite until Wednesday, when they face Dartmouth in the Arena. Most of the Dartmouth team that fought for the Eastern Intercollegiate championship with the Crimson last February, has graduated, but the Hanover skaters have again a strong aggregation. They defeated Williams in three games out of four during the Christmas holidays and last Monday, overwhelme; Princeton 7 to 2.

Milton Rated High

The second team, under the leadership of C. I. Wylde '26, will go into its first encounter Saturday, weather permitting, when it invades the Milton Academy rink Coach Stewart of Milton, well-known referee, considers the Milton team one of the best schoolboy sextets he has ever seen, so the Crimson scrubs will have their work cut out for them.

Four Graduates to Play

Tomorrow night at the Arena a number of Harvard Alumni will be seen in action. The Harvard-Notre Dame clash will be supplemented by a contest between the Knickerbocker A. C. of New York, and the New University Club of Boston. The University Club team has been organized by George Owen '23, and, on the squad are included Clark Hedder '25, E. M. Beals '25, and A. H. Ladd '24. The game will be played as part of a double-header, in between the periods of the contest with Notre Dame.
