Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Charles Chauncey Buell '23 has been appointed backfield coach on the University football coaching staff for next fall it was announced last night by W. J. Bingham '16 Director of Athletics.
Buell, one of the greatest quarter backs the Crimson team has ever had captained the 1922 eleven, which defeated Dartmouth, Center College, and brought the season to a climax by triumphing over Yale 10 to 8. He won four major letters at the University, three in football and one in baseball.
Buell played during the regime of Coach R. T. Fisher '12 and is an exponent of the Haughton Fisher system. He has had coaching experience at Harvard before, having served on Fisher's staff the year after his graduation.
Next year Buell will take some graduate work in the University while taking care of his coaching duties.
Buell prepared for Harvard at Pomfret where he starred in football and hockey. He is now teaching and coaching at Milton Academy.
