QUINTET SEEKS REVENGE ON CONNECTICUT AGGIES

SCHOFIELD INVADERS' LEADER, IS STRONG THREAT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tonight the undefeated Crimson quintet will face its first acid test of the season when it clashes with the Connecticut. Agricultural College basketball team at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium.

The Harvard basket tossers have four victories behind them, having defeated Boston University, M.I. T., Clark and Worcester Polytechnic by large scores.

Green Again Available

There will be no shift in the Crimson lineup, Coach Wachter announces. Although M. M. Green '28, regular center, has recovered from his injured ankle, the Dorn-Barbee-Leekley combination has been working smoothly and obtaining results which warrant its remaining intact. Green will probably see action before the game is far under way, however, Barbee being switched to left guard, as he is more formidable as a defense man than as a forward.

Schofield Won 1926 Game

Last year the Nutmeg State men nosed out the University team in a 25 to 24 contest by a long last-minute shot by Schofield, who is captaining the invaders tonight. With Eddy and Williams he constitutes the offensive threat of the Aggies. The defense moreover figures in the passing, and the team is remarkable for its all around cooperation.

In J. D. Leekley '27 and Kenneth Dorn '27, the Crimson quintet has a powerful offense which should cause trouble for Schilsgren and Krayeskie on the visitors' defense. Leekley, rangy left forward, scored seven times against Worcester Polytechnic Wednesday night. Dorn starred for Harvard in the game with the Clark University floormen, being the leading scorer in that contest.

Coach Wachter is fast developing a strong second string to back up his first string. The substitute problem facing him at the beginning of the season has been alleviated by the fast development of such men as Bobeser Dailey '29, A. W. Slocum '28, and R. L. Hatch '28, who will probably see action in tonight's game.
