The Pierian Sodality of 1808 gave a public concert last night in Concord, New Hampshire.
40 Men made the trip, leaving in busses yesterday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock from Paine Music Hall. Before the concert the members were entertained at dinner by Harvard supporters under whose patronage the concert was given. It is one of a series of concerts being given in adjacent towns by the Pierian Orchestra.
Miss Ethel Leginska conducted the "Hungarian March" and the "Concerto for Piano and Orchestra" by Grieg. S. W. Burbank '29 and R. B. Diederick '28 gave xylophone and violine solos respectively.
Give Boston Concert
Saturday night January 15 at 8 o'clock the Sodality gives a private concert at the Square and Compass Club in Boston. The first half of the program will be broadcasted direct from the hall by WEEI.
After the Concert there will be a reception for the members of the Society. The Concord program was as follows:
