CAMBRIDGE DEBATE TEAM TO INVADE HARVARD THIS FALL

The Cambridge University debating team will meet the University squad here some time this fall, it wins announced last night by F. W. Lorenzen '28. The English speakers have not yet decided definitely on the time for their appearance at the University although it is expected to approximate the date of last year's Harvard-Oxford debate.

The subject as announced by Lorenzen last night is, "Resolved, that this house opposes the growing tendency of government to invade the rights of individuals." The question has been approved by both sides and the Crimson debaters will start immediately in preparing their arguments. Candidates for this debate have been requested to prepare three minute talks on either side of the question for the first meeting which will be held at 7 o'clock tomorrow night in Emerson B.

The meeting with the British speakers will be carried out under the English system of judging which calls for a vote among the members of the audience rather than a decision rendered by judges.
