Tickets for the Yale boat races at New London on June 25 may be applied for by mail or in person between now and 5 o'clock on Friday, June 11, it was announced last night by the H. A. A. At the same time it was announced that applications for the Yale baseball game on Soldiers Field June 23 will close at 5 o'clock this afternoon. Those wishing tickets for the New Haven game on June 22 must apply separately by mail. In case a third game is necessary to decide the series it will be played in New York on June 26.
The price of observation train seats for the University race has been set at $5. Due to the limited accommodations which has caused a shortage of tickets in recent years, those applying for one place will be given preference. The Freshman and Second crew races will be held down stream over the upper part of the four mile course starting at 9.45 o'clock on the morning of the main even. Observation trains will leave New London at 9.15 o'clock. Tickets on these trains will be $2 and will not be redeemable, although reservations for the University race may be cancelled until June 22. The price of reserved seats at the Yale baseball clash is $2.50.
