CRESCENDO OF HARVARD FUND HITS HIGH RECORD FOR WEEK

Total of 415 Men Contribute Over $10,000 in Seven Days

A new record for the number of subscriptions to the Harvard Fund received at the office of the Harvard Fund Council was established last Monday, when 112 men contributed $2.699.50. While this amount is not the largest for any single day, the number of contributors represented is considerably more than the next best figure for the preceding days. A new weekly total was set last week as well, when 415 men contributed $10,579.50.

Four Weeks Remain

The steady increase of subscribers to the Fund bids fair to reach a large percentage of alumni during the four weeks which remain in the first administrative year of the Council.

The geographical distribution of donors to the Fund is encouraging Massachusetts has the largest number of contributors more than twice as many as New York, which is second. Similarly, Boston leads among cities, with New York second. Subscriptions have been received from the following foreign countries and United States possessions; Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hawaii, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Porto Rico, and Slam.
