The College year that is drawing to a close has found Harvard athletic teams more generally successful than has been the case for several years past. The crew race with Yale is the last event on the college calendar. Chances for a satisfactory climax in New London are brighter than they have been for a number of seasons.
In view of these facts, it is especially imperative that the undergraduate body show its confidence in the crew and its willingness to back the crew to the limit, by giving the oarsmen a rousing sendoff this afternoon.
