The final day of the Harvard Invitation Regatta yesterday afternon saw E. R. Stabler '26 victor in the Carroll Cup Race. H. R. Jones '26, was second with William Byrd Jr. '27, third. The race, which is the feature event of the regatta, was for single scullers and was open to all who were entered in any event of the regatta.
Stabler had previously won the junior singles and placed second in the senior singles, while Jones had paired up with C. R. Heussey to win their heat in the trials of the double sculling.
Although the Carroll Cup Race was the last scheduled in the regular list of events, the finals of the double sculling which were postponed from Monday will be held this afternoon.
