S. M. Bysshe '27 won the race for novices in the single sculls. He crossed the finish in 3 minutes 35 seconds.
E. L. S. Arkema '29 was runnerup in the compromise race, while C. W. Ufford 3G. was second in the novice singles. W. A. Stewart 1L. followed the winner across the line in the wherry race.
Today's program for the regatta will not be followed precisely. The dorminory crews will race at 4.30 o'clock. Three 150 pound crews are scheduled to row together at 5 o'clock, but the race for class crews, which is also on the program, was held last week.
Tomorrow the senior singles, which with the Carroll Cup Race on Saturday, is the high spot of the regatta, will be rowed.
