YALE STUDENT COUNCIL URGES ALTERATION IN HONOR SYSTEM

New Haven, Conn., April 28.--Because of the unsatisfactory workings of the present honor system at Yale, plans have been formulated for a new one. The student council has taken the initiative in advocating a change and has adopted resolutions which are now awaiting the approval of the college authorities.

The council proposes to divorce the Freshman year from the honor system, and also proposes to take the complete jurisdiction of the honor system into its own hands.
