Spring football practice will begin at 3 o'clock this afternoon with a meeting in the Soldiers' Field Locker Building.
Arnold Horween '21, head coach of the team, arrived to the opening session today. He announced that he had not yet picked his assistants for next fall and probably would not do so until after the close of spring practice. Several former Harvard football players who have served as assistant coaches either this year or the year before will assist in the work this spring.
After listening to talks by Coach Horween and Captain-elect C. D. Coady '27, the squad will go out on the field for a light conditioning workout. The fence around the Freshman field where the squad will hold its sessions is finished, and all practices will be secret.
Equipment will be given out from 1.30 o'clock on, any one in the University being eligible to come out, whether he has previously signed up or not.
