AN ALLIANCE OF SENTIMENT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Few Harvard men on returning to Cambridge fall to experience the indefinable emotion called to life by familiar surroundings. The alumnus faithfully visits his old dormitory, Memorial Hall. Sever--and for the moment he is an undergraduate again. But from the college life of today, he remains apart on a pedestal of priority.

This year, however, the committee of the Student Council have preferred plans for graduates' day which furnish opportunity to avoid such isolation. Faculty members, and representative undergraduates will set forth the present activities of the university.

For the alumnus, Harvard will be transferred from the distorted realm of memory to that of living entities. And the non-Harvard men attending may get a fair conception of what the College's attempting in scholastic and extra-curricular work.

This movement to bring undergraduate closer to graduate life satisfies not only the demands of courtesy but provides for a more complete understanding of college ideals. Graduates' Day as now conducted forms a Haison between the worlds of theory and fact.
