The Freshman Fencing team will meet the Eli 1929 swordsmen this evening at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium.
It is not certain that the Crimson 1929 swordsmen will be able to muster its full strength against Yale on account of the recent illness of most of the substitutes and one of the regulars.
Neither the Yale nor the Harvard Freshmen have epee teams, but it is likely that the University epee team will meet the M. I. T. men in a playoff of a tie which resulted in last Saturday's fencing meet.
The Crimson Freshmen will line up as follows: G. H. Umbsen, number one; H. A. Hollister, Jr., number two; S. L. Galland, number three.
