The Freshmen Polo team leaves for New Haven this morning to play the Yale Freshmen this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Yale Armory. Those making the trip are J. P. Colton Jr. '29, acting captain who will start at number 2 position, R. P. Gibbs '29, number 1, J. H. Remick Jr. '29, number 3, F. A. Clark '29, and E. H. Mudge '27, manager of the University team. Clark is a recent addition to the squad and is a four-goal man in the national ratings.
Baldwin of Yale, the younger brother of the Baldwin who played against the University riders last week, is expected to star for the home team.
Four seven and one-half minute periods will be played instead of the regulation six five minute periods. Yale will provide ponies for both sides and the teams will exchange mounts between the halves.
The 1929 riders have had a rather unsuccessful season in contrast to their Yale opponents. However, they have been laboring under several handicaps and have shown rapid improvement in the last few weeks in stiff scrimmages with the University mallet-weilders.
